The 125th Philippine Independence Day celebration in Albany was a resounding success, filled with vibrant festivities and cultural pride. Attendees experienced an array of cultural performances, community unity, and celebratory spirit throughout the event.

Special guests, including local officials, Filipino-American organizations, Asian American and Pacific Islander organizations, parade participants and performers from the tri-state area, joined forces with the Kalayaan 1521 Council to honor the Filipino-American community's rich heritage and contributions. From lively music to colorful displays, the parade showcased the enduring spirit of freedom and cultural pride. Overall, it was a memorable and meaningful celebration of Philippine independence and community solidarity.
